So for this Halloween, I decided to come out of my comfort zone of always looking glamorous or pretty. So I still went for glamorous but with a twist! You can view my pictures of how it came out in my gallery I think it came out pretty well, considering I got most of the makeup stuff that morning of the day I did my costume for the Halloween Party I attended on the 30th! haha so what you see is what I did on the first try. I must say though, it was pretty damn hard looking for a facial peeling mask these days, now that its more popular to use clay or salicylate acid facial washes.

For the 31st I had to work but I still dressed up, I had made these palm size angel wings a few years ago so that when patients woke up, they didnt see something horrifying and scream! I still managed to scare one of my patients though, apparently she was in a deep sleep and I startled her but she said she was more startled by being woken up than by what I was wearing, haha! I also managed to cook various dishes for Halloween to bring to work, every week I made a dish leading up to the holiday. First week were white chocolate covered strawberries that looked like ghosts, skulls, and mummys. 2nd week were 3D pumpkin cupcakes that looked absolutely fabulous. 3rd week was a Mummy cheese log made out of port wine cheese and the bandages were done in cream cheese. On Halloween I also made mummy kolaches (sausages wrapped in strips of crescent rolls) and worms in sauce (hot dog sausages cut and grilled to look like earth worms swimming in BBQ sauce!)

I'm starting to see a mummy theme here hmmm...

Next, in 5 days I'm going to the Renaissance Festival. So I'm getting that costume together! Tuesday picking up my dress from the tailors and hand washing my cloak. Wednesday getting the accessories and makeup packed. Friday leaving to the hotel (which is about 4.5 hours away!), Saturday the all day festival, Sunday coming back! Phew!!
